Millions.

We stood together for Peace
As the world fell down upon us.

Clouds roll in

As I laugh out loud.

A young student held a sign that read,
“Fighting Wars For Peace
Is Like Fucking For Virginity.”

A whore of a country.

I walk the desert alone.
In my hand I hold a rifle.
My black boots leave motionless
Imprints in Time.
My breath stirs the silent dance of sand
Across unseen lines of Space.

Boundaries become vacuums.
Leaders become Gods.
Children become soldiers.
Faces become masks.
Names become numbers.
Soldiers become machines.
Lives become collateral.

Hate becomes Justification.
Love becomes Myth.

The day is actually night.
The sun is actually a blast.
The desert is actually a city.
My skin turns black as it melts.

As I laugh out loud.
